Useful Links

Army Wife NetworkI'm a contributor to their blog, and every single one of the ladies and gents on that site is out for the betterment of our armed forces whether they be spouses, significant others, parents, other family, friends, etc. It's a great place to read up on a variety of different military life related topics and get to know some of the wonderful people willing to lend some words of advice in the military community. Find all you're looking for here, or my contributions here.

Ask a Soldier
A bunch of helpful information, and helpful people, that can answer some of your questions, many times from a soldier's perspective. This link is direct to family discussions.

The Veterans Site Store
This is a great website that raises funds for our troops. Every item you buy is guaranteed to feed at least one veteran a meal. It's a great site with a ton of items to offer.
Check it out here.

Hero 2 Hired
A website sponsored by the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program that helps servicemen/women and their military spouses locate civilian employment. You can upload your resume, create a resume, search for jobs in your area, and keep everything nice and tidy on your own "dashboard."  Start searching here.
Hiring Our Heroes
Works with Hero 2 Hired to sponsor local and regional hiring events and fairs to help servicemen/women and their military spouses find civilian jobs. You can sign up for your local fair, get updates by email, upload your resume for fair attendees to view, and get a list of possible employers before you get to the event.  They also hold on-site workshops at many locations to work on resumes, interviewing strategies, etc.  Find your local event here.
It's pretty much Groupon for military members, veterans, and spouses.  All you need to do is sign up and verify the soldier's information, and voila!, you're ready to get emails for all of the awesome deals they have to offer.  Check it out.
The American Armed Forces Mutual Aid Association (AAFMAA) is a non-profit company that has put out this really useful guide for military, vets, and their families on insurance, retirement benefits, survivor services, and everything financially important in between.  Go here and learn more about AAFMAA and consider what they have to offer your financial future.
